Work scope:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with large taxpayers in order to provide premium services on tax related matters within applicable policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and experience:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent is required

·  Minimum 2 years of experience

Roles and responsibilities:

· Follow all relevant Account Management Department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions, and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

  · Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

  · Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within Account Management Department

  · Follow-up on large taxpayers (LTPs) accounts to provide premium services on tax related matters including registration, filing, audit, investigation, collection, inquiries, objections, appeals, etc.

· Develop rapport and nurture a close, professional working relationship with LTPs to become the trusted point of contact for all tax matters  Inform LTPs on new laws and regulations announcements, scheduled events, filing deadlines, etc. in order to raise level of readiness

  · Support LTPs in filing, refunds and other services to facilitate tax duties while ensuring full compliance with GAZT requirements

· Act as a main point of contact between GAZT internal functions (registration, audit, collection, etc.) and LTPs to handle registration, audit, collection and appeals related requests

  · Address LTPs’ inquiries and complaints and cooperation with other GAZT functions

  · Coordinate with senior relationship managers to escalate complex issues and request support on key technical areas

  · Conduct industry and sector research and assess / re-assess LTPs’ situation based on their industry, economic and business setting in order to determine compliance levels and escalate high-risk cases to audit for further investigation

  · Document research findings and results in an organized manner to maintain a knowledge base on VLPTs’ and LTPs’ business practices and operations

  · Update LTPs profiles / database (POC, address, industry, status of business, operational performance, problem areas, etc.) and preserve information while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures

  · Prepare a consolidated report for each LTP covering risk survey, financial analysis, filing progress, queries, issues resolution and document interaction with taxpayer and records
