Digitalization Sales Specialist

As a Digitalization Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.Your main responsibilities in this role will include:
1. Preparing Annual Sales Plans supported by pipeline targeting the positioning of RM Digitalization and Ability Offerings.
2. Mapping existing potential to generate new business opportunities for Digital offerings.
3. Developing the market and mind set at customer base to position remote assistance and remote condition monitoring services.
4. Drive / Implement sales force and market actions across targeted accounts and customers offering Robotics and Motion Drives (RMDR) service portfolio.
5. Taking customer loyalty to new levels establishing long term strong relationships via professional service sales and delivery.
6. Growing Drives Value Added Services based on positioning of Remote Condition Monitoring Sales. Set winning strategies, margins and prices according to BU strategy.
7. Selling the Discrete Automation and Motion Drives (DMDR) services full portfolio to assigned customers.
8. Coordinating with the Products Sales Team to include digital offerings with new drives and pursue Large Scale Service Contracts including Robot Modular Cells (RMC).
9. Ensuring expanding coverage in areas, customers and segments where RMDR has no presence.
10. Matching RMDR Services Portfolio with customer requirements and ensure optimum services are proposed.

Sales Support Specialist

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will support the sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Responsibility of the LBU sales support activities (Sturdies, tendering and proposals).
  • Supporting Front End Sales personnel in achievement of LBU OR commitments.
  • Defining the most suitable technology and product type(s) to be used based on application characteristics. Defining the configuration in accordance with bid commercial needs and requested quality metrics.
  • Ensuring the preparation of technical and financial aspects of the offer, indicating prices and trading conditions.
  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by sales organization.
  • Managing the first technical inspection to retrieve all the information needed to prepare the proposal. Obtaining cost information from relevant internal contacts.
  • Analyzing and evaluating specific technical issues and associated risks.
  • Identifying potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project and technically evaluates supplier offers for alignment with specifications. Collaborating with supply chain management to coordinate requests of subcontractors.
  • Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates to customer/sales organization
  • Collecting documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development of supply/order.

Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer – Drives, you will execute Service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.Your main responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Abiding with ABB OHS regulations with zero tolerance. Performing remote and on-site service activities for RMDR products and/or systems in accordance with customer requirements. Ensuring timely, cost-effective solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Diagnosing technical problems, determining corrective actions, and repairing RMDR products and/or systems via remote or on-site service. Assessing technical issues to determine if on-site assistance is required. Performing all on- site activities in accordance with ABB procedures and safety requirements.
  • Providing assistance via service calls during and after hours as necessary. Performing remote service assistance using remote connection and diagnostics tools. Obtaining acknowledgement from the customer regarding the completed tasks and detailed activities performed to solve the customer problem.
  • Acting as the project technical leader in the service project by analyzing the project requirements and clarifying the project scope. Ensuring the coordination of the other internal and external technicians and assigning them specific tasks related to service needs.
  • Ensuring the planning and execution of assigned service activities carried out in house and on site, and monitors progress and long term delivery. Ensuring maintenance service project execution with respect to the agreed terms of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction. Trigger service sales opportunities to the sales team.
  • Technical support during offering when requested. Attending tasks assigned by Service Team Manager or Service Manager.
  • Ensure completion of certification or development plans prepared.As the ideal candidate, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 1-2 years of hands on experience in field service, preferably drives with Industry background.
